The E3 model was informed by interactions with members of the bleeding disorder community. The model lists proximal and distal determinants of health that were identified by community members. Within each level (individual, community, organizational, and institutional), there are research based solutions and promising practices that will address barriers to care. This model is intended to help all audiences work towards Health Equity and access in all communities throughout the US.
